Ok so it has been long enough having no floor in my bed, so I finally decided to do something about it. I decided to go the same route I did before with a single piece of 3/4" pressure treated plywood. Only this time I didn't have to remove the bed. My solution was to attach the last two mounts, then cut the existing wood down to the metal sides, cut the board to fit exactly in the middle and plop it in.

For now I only have the pictures from when I did the mounts:

Here it is as it sat before:

Got to play with my welder and I think my spot welds are definately getting better:

So I decided to use the little bit of rust bullet that i had left on the mounts and the remained on the frame:

Wow this place is kinda dead...

But I am alive an kicking and working on the truck!
Well to finish my last update, I did finish the bed floor with a fresh piece of ply wood and a new set of tailgate letters. Also I used up the last of my shitty Eastwood chassis coat and repainted the bumper, my guess is it lasts till the fall...:

Some more stuff to come:
-Fresh front bumper paint
-Fresh grill trim paint
-New layer of herculiner in the cab
-Trashing the cheesy stainless panels in the bed and herculiner all around
-Cylinder Heads are ordered, so the 355 will be reaching final assembly stage in about 2 weeks or so!
-Also possibly a cowl induction hood later this summer

Enjoy the water beeding up on top of a fresh coat of wax, I love it:

More progress:

I think this bumper came out far better than the rear bumper. I sanded, spot shot some zinc primer on the bare spots, then I used the urathane primer that I could never get to spray flat because I figured I wanted some texture on the bumper, and then 4 medium coats of rustolium.

Here's a close up:
